Waiting for another item can change a parcel plan. It can also leave an older order approaching its storage limit while newer arrivals still have time. The useful starting point is a dated list of the items actually held in your account.
This is a storage-management article, rather than a shipping-rate guide. The rules below reflect Boonbuy’s public warehouse notice checked on 27 October 2026. Use the item’s account record for its actual dates and current bill, and ask support about unclear wording before relying on an extension.
Separate free storage from the overall limit
The notice describes 90 calendar days of free storage for listed warehouse items with order references beginning K, ending at 23:59:59 on day 90. It states an overall storage period of up to 120 days for purchased and forwarded items, with overdue charges from day 91.
Treat those as different planning markers. Paying a charge should not be read as permission to hold an item indefinitely. Also keep the warehouse return deadline separate: it concerns return eligibility, not the amount of free storage left.
In your notes, make a row for each item with its stock-in date, displayed free-storage expiry and any maximum hold date. Where the account does not show a date clearly, obtain clarification rather than filling the gap with a guessed date.
Budget from the item’s actual storage bill
The fee section publishes a daily calculation of 0.2% of the actual paid item price, a CNY 1 minimum per item per day and a CNY 300 monthly cap per item. Settlement is in CNY. The same notice later refers to either inbound declared value or actual paid price; confirm the applied base if those differ for your order.
For illustration only, a CNY 180 base produces CNY 0.36 at 0.2%, below the published minimum, so the minimum would be CNY 1 for that item for one overdue day. This is a simple minimum-fee example, not a quotation or a forecast of a multi-month bill.
Look at the daily charge, accumulated amount and overdue days together. If a figure differs from your expectation, save the dated bill and ask which base and period were used. Do not change an item’s declared value to try to alter the storage charge.
Plan around the oldest item
Create a short review list before deciding to wait for more purchases:
- Which item has the earliest displayed expiry?
- Is its next action already decided?
- What question is preventing that action?
- When will you check the answer again?
A hypothetical three-item shortlist might contain one older item and two recent arrivals. Put the older order first even if the newer purchases are more exciting. Give an unresolved question an owner and a follow-up date in your notes so that waiting is an active decision.
The notice says storage charging stops on the day a parcel order is created, while previously incurred fees remain payable. Verify that the relevant parcel order exists and that the item is included. A saved shipping estimate does not establish either fact.
Resolve unmatched arrivals promptly
Boonbuy describes a separate 30-day period from Received status for abnormal parcels that lack completed logistics information and cannot be matched to an order or user. It says no reminders are sent for those parcels and warns of destruction after the deadline.
If your forwarding record and a warehouse arrival do not match, assemble the carrier name, domestic tracking reference, receipt date and intended order reference for support. Keep the response with that forwarding record. Do not apply the normal free-storage assumption to an unmatched parcel.
Set a review date before the final deadline
The policy warns of disposal for overdue items with unpaid fees. Its summary and later disposal section describe the conditions differently, so neither the monthly cap nor an unpaid period should be treated as a guaranteed grace period. Get written clarification well before the item’s limit if your plan depends on it.
Keep your own reminder earlier than the account expiry, then check the actual warehouse and billing status on that date. Close the note only when the intended action is confirmed in the account. This gives you a record of what happened, rather than relying on whether a reminder email arrived.
