The practical guides / Fees & payments

Boonbuy fees, payment methods and exchange rates

Understand Boonbuy payment stages, compare currency conversion and payment charges, and build an order budget beyond the displayed item price.

A product’s price is one part of an international shopping budget. Keep the original CNY amount beside what you are charged in your payment currency, then record shipping and any other applicable charges separately. This makes two listings easier to compare before you commit to a larger order.

Understand the two Boonbuy payment stages

Boonbuy’s official overview describes paying for items first and paying for international shipping after warehouse arrival. The first payment therefore does not establish the amount needed to send the finished parcel to your address.

At the purchase stage, review the selected variant, item amount and any domestic delivery charge. Later, use the parcel’s actual packing information and the available route conditions to compare shipping. The shipping guide explains which destination, weight and dimension inputs to collect.

Separate the purchasing fee from other costs

At our 27 October 2026 review, QCRadar’s platform profile listed no separate Boonbuy purchasing commission. That is a dated secondary-source statement about the purchasing line, rather than our own payment test or a promise that every service is free.

For example, Boonbuy’s official returns policy separately discusses service fees, payment processing and charges for completed services. Its storage policy also describes fees after the free period. Check the current breakdown for the service you actually use.

Cost to record What to check
Item purchase The selected size, colour, quantity and current seller amount
Domestic delivery Any charge for getting the purchase to the warehouse
Payment and conversion The charged currency, conversion rate and payment charge
Extra services The price of any photography, packing or other option you select
International shipping The destination, chargeable weight and chosen route
Other applicable charges The route’s treatment of taxes, import or delivery charges

Record an amount only when it applies to your order. A blank field is a question to resolve, not automatically a zero.

Compare exchange rates using the charged amount

A conversion can change the amount paid even when there is no separate purchasing commission. Compare the same CNY amount with the amount payable in your chosen currency, including any conversion or processing charge shown for that transaction.

Keep the rate, currency and date together. A rate from another buyer’s screenshot or a third-party comparison may use a different time or payment route. It cannot establish the rate available to your own account.

Our product cards show a dated USD reference estimate and retain the sampled CNY price. The grid note identifies that reference rate. These figures help with browsing; use the live listing and payment breakdown for your actual purchase.

Check the payment methods available to you

The official footer displays Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and BLIK. Look at the options available for your account and transaction, including the currency and any charge shown before payment.

If you plan to use PayPal or a wallet, establish which currency will be charged and where a conversion takes place. Keep a copy of the transaction amount and order reference so a later question can be matched to the right payment.

This guide does not test or rank payment methods. A logo on a public page does not settle the conditions offered for a particular transaction.

Apply a coupon to the right part of the budget

A shipping coupon concerns the parcel charge it is applied to. It does not automatically reduce the product amount or every other cost. Check the actual deduction, expiry and eligibility shown for the offer.

Use the shipping coupon checklist before treating a promotional bundle as savings on one parcel. If you are waiting for more items, also check the oldest warehouse storage deadline.

Keep a short payment record

For each payment, save the order or parcel reference, date, charged currency, amount and included services. Compare the completed transaction with the breakdown you reviewed.

If an amount is unclear, ask which component it covers before adding another payment. Keep a refund question tied to the original transaction; the separate refund progress article explains the records to gather.

To compare a fixed item-price ceiling, use the Boonbuy finds under CNY 200. Keep the later parcel and payment charges separate from that ceiling.

When your budget is clear, browse more Boonbuy finds and compare complete listing details alongside the amount you are prepared to spend.
